About Me

From Flight Attendant to Product Designer

My career has taken me from helping passengers to checking product quality and designing digital experiences. Across those roles, I’ve been drawn to understanding what people need and making complicated situations easier to navigate.

Today, I’m a product designer based in San Diego, working across multiple nonprofit software, CRM platforms, and financial services.

A different path into design.

As a flight attendant, I learned to listen closely, adapt quickly, and support people from different backgrounds, even when things didn’t go as planned.

Working in quality assurance strengthened my attention to detail. I became more aware of the gaps between how something was intended to work and what someone actually experienced.

Today at Humanitru, I design tools that help nonprofit teams manage relationships and fundraising work. My earlier experiences still shape how I approach the work: understand the people, examine the details, and consider how each part affects the whole.

What I Bring To A Team

Listening that shapes the solution

I want to understand how people work before deciding what to change. On Opportunities, conversations with fundraisers helped clarify the difference between what they ask for, expect to receive, and actually receive. That distinction shaped the design.

Making uncertainty easier to discuss

I use flows and prototypes to give teams something concrete to react to. On Credit Insights, mapping enrollment helped surface unanswered questions while requirements and the integration approach were still evolving.

Attention to details that affect usability

My QA background influences how I review an experience. I look for inconsistencies and barriers, then turn those findings into guidance a team can act on—from clearer financial fields to accessibility recommendations for a vendor.

A Little more about me

Beyond Design

Something sweet

Away from the screen, you might find me baking. Making something to share, one batch at a time.

See you on the court

I also make time for pickleball. It’s a chance to get moving, step away from the screen, and enjoy a good game.

Life with my husband

And beyond work and hobbies, there’s life with my husband. The everyday moments and adventures we share.
